Meat Free Monday


Simple classic wholesome salad for meat free mondays.

Recipe: -

1/2 Organic Kent Pumpkin
1/2 Organic Sweet Potato
2 Organic Carrots
1 Serve Organic Rocket Leaves
Crumbled Feta
2 Cloves Organic Garlic
Balsamic vinegar
Himalayan salt to taste
Black Pepper
Olive Oil

Method: -

Roast carrot slices, pumpkin and sweet potato with himalayan salt, pepper, garlic cloves and olive oil at 200 degrees celcius for 45 mins.
Once roasted toss with rocket leaves, add feta and dress with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Add more salt if rquired.

Saturday Night Pizza


One of the best investments I made was investing in a breadmaker. Not only can you make various doughs but you can also have freshly baked home bread. Nothing better than waking up on a sunday morning and having your house filled with the aroma of a freshly baked bread....

Just remember although there seems to be heaps of ingredients listed you will be getting both carbohydrate, protein and veggie portions in, so no need for any side dishes.

Pizza Recipe (makes 2 large Pizzas or 4 mini pizzas)

Ingredients: -

For the dough

2 1/2  cups organic all purpose flour
1 TBL olive oil
1 Tsp Salt
1 3/4 Tsp Yeast

For the Tomato paste

1 Organic Onion
1 Organic Garlic Clove
3 Tomato's
1/2 Red chilli or 1 Tsp of chilli powder
1/2 Pepper (Any colour you prefer)
1 Tsp Himalayan Salt
1Tsp Black Pepper

Toppings

1/2 Cup of Organic Cheese (Any cheese of your choice mozzarella, gouda, parmesan)
1 TBL dried herbs ( I like to use italian herbs or just plain oregano)
1 Organic onion sliced
1 Organic tomato sliced
1/2 Cup organic Spinach
1/2 cup cooked and spiced organic Chicken (optional)
1 TBL Organic olives sliced
1 Cup Mushrooms
